Family: Sylviidae, Old World Warblers and Gnatcatchers view all from this family

Description Adult has a stout, rather pale bill, mostly olive-green upperparts and grayish white underparts; note the dark eyestripe and bold white supercilium, and single white wing bar. Juvenile is similar, but brighter and more colorful.

Dimensions Length: 4 3/4" (12 cm)

Range California, Alaska

Discussion Mainly Asian species that breeds in Arctic scrub in Alaska (May-Aug).
