Description Native perennial. Habit: grass-like. Height: 6 inches to 3 ft. Flower: small yellow umbels, 3" across, on a ray up to 10 centimeters long. Leaves: emerge from the lower part of the stem. Each is generally divided into three leaflets which are each subdivided into three linear leaflike segments. Tap root.
Flower April - July.
Habitat Higher elevations.
Range mountains of the Western U.S. and north into Canada.
