Description This sprawling plant with delicate blue flowers is endemic to Florida and sometimes considered a turf-grass weed.
Habit: native perennial herb; sprawling to nearly erect stems.
Height: to 16 in (40 cm)
Leaf: elliptic to linear.
Flower: blue-purple to purple, 5-parted, star-like.

Flower Year-round.

Habitat Wet flatwoods, marshes, swamps, roadsides, moist lawns.

Range Florida.
