Description Bronze to gray/green. Warty skin. Toe pads large. Head skin fused to skull.
Dimensions 3.8-14cm. (1 1/2-5 1/2")
Voice Rasping at different pitches.
Breeding May-October. Eggs laid in strings in lakes and ponds, pools and cisterns.
Habitat Trees, scrubland near houses.
Range N. Florida & Hawaii.
Discussion Nocturnal. Eats anything that will fit in its mouth. Introduced from Cuba into Key West. Found in residential ponds, billboards, patios and trees.
