Track Pair of facing crescents, about 5" (130 mm) long; front and rear contours so similar that direction of travel may be difficult to ascertain, but front usually prints deeper than rear; similar to tracks of domestic cattle and American Bison. On very hard ground, cleft may not print clearly, and then prints may look similar to horse hoofprints.
Sign Scat: Flat, round mass similar to that of domestic cow, but often drier and harder.
