Description Palm tree native to western Sonora and petiole up to 1 m. long, a palmate fan of leaflets up to 1 m. long. Inflorescence up to 3 m. long with numerous small pale orange-pink flowers. Fruit spherical, blue-black drupe, 6–8 mm. edible, though thin-fleshed.
Dimensions Height: 15-21 m. (50-70 ft.)
Diameter: 0.3-0.5 m. (1-1 1/2 ft.).
Habitat Canyons & valleys, Cities, suburbs & towns.
Range Southwest, California, Florida.
