Description Dark brown with yellowish-red/brown flecks. Black underside with white spots. 16-17 costal grooves.
Dimensions 8.6-10.8cm. (3 3/8-4 1/4").
Breeding 10 eggs laid in June. Hatches in October.
Habitat Temperate forests of moist Douglas fir, maple, and red cedar woodlands in Oregon.
Range Oregon along Columbia & Hood Rivers.
Discussion Scattered colonies. Active April-May. Found in logs, under rocks or bark near water.
