Raccoon

We have the smartest raccoon in the state. He can open the locking handles on our garbage cans. I have locked, put bricks on top and chased him away. How can we make him stay out?

Wildlife Expert - Ken Burton

While raccoons are smart, dexterous, and nimble, they do lack pure physical strength, so you can use this to your advantage. If you can secure your garbage can lids with strong elastic cords AND find a way to secure the cans in an upright position (another elastic cord attached to a post that keeps the raccoons from knocking the cans over), you will be able to solve this problem. Good Luck.
