The Rocky Shoals Spider Lily (Hymenocallis coronaria), also called the Shoals Spiderlily and Cahaba Lily, grows in South Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama, mostly near the Fall Line, which is the inland edge of the Coastal Plain. It is a Candidate for federal listing and is state listed as Endangered in Georgia and "of concern" in the other states. However, the Nature Conservancy gives it its second-highest endangerment rating for South Carolina. It is not the same species as the Carolina Spider Lily (Hymenocallis caroliniana).
