Blue Spruce trees

We have 5 trees about 10 feet tall that were a deep blue when we purchased this property last August. When we returned last week they have turned green. Is this normal and will they turn blue again? Thanks much. Tom Klinedinst

Hi Tom, I cannot imagine what would cause that to happen. New growth on conifers is usually a vibrant green and as branches mature their true color sets in. If one of our eNature visitors knows the answer, please get back with me and I'll post it.
